Positions are computed client-side using the SGP4 propagator against TLEs refreshed fortnightly from Celestrak. Accuracy is within a few kilometres for fresh TLEs and degrades to ~50 km in the weeks after a capture. For mission planning, use the per-collection detail pages — they include swath footprints and sensor geometry at real scale.
